Struggling Faith: A Faith Reborn
I hope you have enjoyed our work with regaining our faith over the last six weeks. This was my first-ever attempt at a true blog series, and I learned quite a lot from writing it. First, in future, I should limit myself to a series of four, rather than six. Over the course of a six week period so many other things happen that I find myself wanting to talk about instead, that it is often difficult to remain focused on the series-at-hand. Second: even in the midst of writing a blog series on rebirthing faith, things may happen which cause your own to tremble.
The birthing (or, in the case of this series rebirthing) of faith is not a “one and done“; it is ongoing. Life happens. Every day is either an opportunity to keep going, or get stuck in the mire. I hope this series has helped you to, like me, choose the former, rather than the latter. But I’m not going to sit here and lie to you, and tell you that living your life that way is going to ever be easy. It’s not easy, but it does make everything a whole lot less sucktastic.
In case you missed the series from the start, or if you just want a one-shot post that provides a quick and easy reference to link to all of the posts, so that you can read and re-read at your leisure, I’ve compiled those links for you below. Thank you all for sticking with me as I wrote these. I hope they have been of service to you, and will continue to be so.
